Homalomena brachygyna

A newly described flora, Homalomena brachygyna, J.Collantes, K.Z.Hein, & R.Bustam., sp. nov., has been added to the Araceae family. This unique species was identified in the riparian forests of San Vicente, Palawan, marking the first new Homalomena discovery from the Philippines in over a century.
