Porina dolichoepiphylla
Porina dolichoepiphylla Taer, Dal Forno & Aptroot sp. nov., a newly discovered foliicolous lichen from Mt. Kitanglad, is distinguished by its long ascospores, rough thalli, and hairless surface, growing on Asplenium vittaeforme in a shady lower montane forest—an addition to the approximately 40 known Porina species in the Philippines.
Thank you so much, Ermalene Catipan Taer, for entrusting me with the illustration of this new species.
