AgiLaya: In The Convergence

Every June 4-10, Philippine Eagle Week (PEW) is celebrated by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 79, series of 1999. For PEW 2024, I had the opportunity to create illustrations and publicity materials for the Philippine Eagle Foundation.

The Philippine Eagle Center is not only where you'll find the amazing Philippine Eagle, but it's also a place where many other species, some unique to the country, find a home. For this project, I made vector art of various species from the center, including lizards, birds, snakes, and more. Shown below are just a few of our feathered friends you can find perching, flying around, and chirping at the center.

Tristan and Nat, good friends from PEF, messaged me about working for this event. Although I had a hectic schedule, I still agreed to take part in this because working for PEF is always a joy for me. I also got excited when Tristan told me that the main poster would be printed in a large format to be put in a shopping mall, and being the first time to experience it made the decision easier.

Even though Philippine Eagle Week is in June, you can check out the awesome species for PEW 2024 at the center anytime. Swing by and help support their mission!
