Wildlife is Here is the Philippine Eagle Foundation's homegrown commemoration for World Wildlife Day (WWD), and for their 2024 edition, the spotlight goes to the unique biodiversity and ecology of Bukidnon. The event took place at Robinson's Place Valencia, Bukidnon last March of 2024.

In this collaboration, I had the opportunity to illustrate the following representative species of Bukidnon: the Philippine Eagle 'Kalabugao' (Pithecophaga jefferyi), the Short-billed Brown Dove (Phapitreron brevirostris), the Philippine Rafflesia (Rafflesia schadenbergiana), the Pantaron Snake Tongue Fern (Ophioderma subsessile), the Jezebel (Delias levicki justini), the Mindanao Broken Stick Insect (Baculofractum junliti), the Mt. Kitanglad Forest Skink (Parvoscincus kitangladensis), the Mindanao Spiny Frog (Nyctixalus spinosus), the Mindanao Flying Squirrel (Petinomys mindanensis), and Podogymnura minima.

Doing the illustrations was a journey. Many hours of work were spent just to capture the essence of these amazing fauna and flora. Challenges pushed my artistic boundaries and deepened my appreciation for the natural world, making every illustration a unique representation of Bukidnon's wonders.

Many thanks to Irick and Tristan of the Philippine Eagle Foundation for inviting me to create this series of digital illustrations showcasing the featured wildlife species of Bukidnon.
